Plants helping out in the house

Having house plants in your home or building are not only nice for decoration but also are great at assisting in improving the indoor air quality of the property.

We all remember from science class, that plants remove Carbon Dioxide from the air. However, certain plants can also remove many different chemical compounds that are introduced into your indoor environment from sources that include furniture, carpet and building materials.

The Natural News.com has a great reference article linked below on this topic. The article lists which plants are best at removing certain chemical compounds. The studies were conducted in part by NASA. I think I am going to pick up a new plant today!
